Cyclone in Odissa

Massive cyclone in India leaves a destructive trail.

Some half a million people were evacuated from the southeastern Indian coast as Cyclone Phailin, a tropical storm from the Bay of Bengal, bore down on India. The states of Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, both of which have large coastal populations, were on high alert ahead of the storm’s expected arrival.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday, Indian weather officials said the eye of the cyclone was crossing the Orissa coast. Many have feared the storm — and the potential destruction it could cause — could be comparable to a deadly Super Cyclone that hit India in 1999

Dono much about politics but I do have an opinion or two

All religions are not same. Religions are exclusive, not inclusive. Each religion's claims are radically different in some aspects while similar in some other aspects. As far as religions are concerned, all roads do not lead to the same destination. Just like the word 'science' is a general/broader term but each branch of Science is vast, deep, and different; so are the claims/ideologies of each religion. I am a seeker of the truth, willing to follow the evidence wherever it leads.

Science is materialistic.

Culture is where society is.
